Tyler Hoechlin’s welcome stint as Clark Kent/Superman continues this week as he sticks around National City for a second Supergirl episode airing later today.
The CW has released two new clips from “The Last Children of Krypton” over the weekend, one where the super cousins join forces to stop some bank robbers. My favorite bit? It’s what Supes says to one of them after the idiot decides to punch Clark; right after seeing bullets bounce off him: “See now. If the bullets don’t work, right? Why the punching? I never understood that.” Seriously, Hoechlin is killing it as the Man of Steel. More of him, please.
The second clip sees Kara (Melissa Benoist) being introduced to her new boss Snapper Carr (Ian Gomez) by Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart). Dude seems to be an all-round awful human being. Hopefully his character will grow on us because that first meeting was simply abysmal. Poor Kara. Can't she catch a break? Supergirl airs tonight on The CW.
CADMUS attacks National City with a kryptonite powered villain who ends up seriously hurting Supergirl (Melissa Benoist). Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) blames Hank (David Harewood) because the kryptonite was stolen from the DEO. Meanwhile, Kara’s first day at her new job doesn’t go as planned after she meets her new boss, Snapper Carr (guest star Ian Gomez). Glen Winter directed the episode written by Robert Rovner & Caitlin Parrish.
