If you're looking for more sweet Demon Dean (Jensen Ackles) action in the upcoming 10th season of Supernatural, then you’re in luck. If you were itching for “a few new doozies” to be introduced to the world, you’re in luck again.

Executive producer Jeremy Carver chatted a few weeks back with Entertainment Weekly, confirming that the Demon Dean storyline would be sticking around for at least the “first run of episodes.” He also mentioned that the Mark of Cain was “very much on the boys’ minds as they plot out a game plan for the next batch of episodes after Dean is healed.”

If you're a bit disappointed that Demon Dean won't be sticking around for ALL of season 10, at least Carver promised that it won't be smooth sailing for the Winchester brothers afterward -- even if Dean is healed early on. “I think just when it seems like things might be starting to settle down, we will introduce a few new doozies to the world,” Carver said.

Uh-oh, that sounds rather ominous … in a good, Supernatural-y kinda way.

Carver also confirmed that “ideas are floating” around for another Supernatural spinoff, although he admitted that “nothing is firm yet.”

What do you guys think those “few new doozies” could be? Any ideas for a good Supernatural spinoff?

Supernatural returns to The CW for its 10th season on Oct. 7.
