Two weeks ago, the first footage of the remake of Suspiria was revealed at CinemaCon. While the general public didn't get to see it, reports from CinemaCon were quite impressive.
In the footage, a dancer is shown practicing, while her instructor pushes her. Somewhere else in the school, another dancer gets crushed to death in movements that seem to mirror the original dancer's actions.
Now, we finally get our first, official look at the film, with these two stills courtesy of Amazon Studios. In them, Dakota Johnson looks haunted as she tries to adjust to her new dance school.

A remake (though not exactly) of Dario Argento's 1977 giallo classic, Suspiria is directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name) and stars Johnson (Fifty Shades of Grey) as the newest dancer in a world-famous troupe. Tilda Swinton (Doctor Strange) plays the troupe's artistic director, and everyone becomes entangled with a "bloody, sighing nightmare," according to the press release.
