Shhhh! You've seen the trailer for upcoming horror film A Quiet Place. It's the terrifyingly silent one starring Emily Blunt and John Krasinski (who also directed). Well, the film just premiered at SXSW and fans are getting loud about their first reactions on social media.
A Quiet Place stars IRL couple Krasinski (The Office) and Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow) as a couple living in silence with their two children in order to remain undetected from an unknown threat. The horror film just premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) film festival in Austin, Texas, and reactions are pouring into social media.
If you were at all skeptical about the premise for the film, people are pretty loud about how unsettling and creepy the silence of A Quiet Place truly gets.
Krasinski is best known for his role as Jim on the U.S. version of The Office, so his turn as a horror film director is impressing audiences as well.
Apparently, the audience was full of fun reactions during the film as well. Jumping, screaming, and goosebumps are all good signs when it comes to horror films.
Overall immensely positive reactions for A Quiet Place on the opening night of SXSW 2018. You're probably wondering when you can see the film for yourself (like I am!). A Quiet Place sneaks into theaters April 6.
