Ambrosia. The legendary drink of the Greek Gods. If it’s good enough for the likes of Zeus, Hera, Ares, Aphrodite, Athena, Apollo, and the other mighty Olympians, then surely it’s good enough for us mere mortals.

Especially since we don’t have to pull a Kratos (from the video game series God of War) and climb Mount Olympus ourselves in order to steal a barrel of the immortality-giving drink — not that Kratos climbed Olympus to steal some Ambrosia to begin with since that was actually Tantalus’ gig in one version of the ancient myth… but you know what we mean. Why? Because we have all the ingredients needed to make the delicious drink right here.

SYFY WIRE has created its own Ambrosia for Happy Hour that, while not exactly immortality-giving, will certainly help anyone become the life of the party. As long as you drink responsibly so that you don’t go and drive Helios' chariot into the sun afterwards.

Our delicious recipe makes use of 1 Oz. of Midori and Sake, 1.5 Oz. of St.Germain and lemon juice. Then all you have to do is shake vigorously, strain over some chlorophyll ice, and top it all off with some juicy melon balls. And voila! You’ve made your own Ambrosia. Check out our video to see how it's made.
