The fourth and final season of 12 Monkeys just added a Game of Thrones star to the cast. So, which Thrones alum will splinter from the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros to SYFY’s time traveling drama?
Entertainment Weekly reports that Conleth Hill — the Tony-Award nominee who plays Varys, the Master of Whisperers on Game of Thrones — has joined the cast of 12 Monkeys for a two-episode arc on the show’s final season.
Slated to air sometime in 2018, 12 Monkeys will see the Irish stage actor take on the role of Bonham, who’s described as: “a world weary international law enforcement agent facing the last days of mankind. His ancestors — by virtue of time-travel — were given a relic of incredible importance. As a world-ending pandemic spreads across the globe, leaving billions dead in its wake, Bonham has come to doubt the item’s truth. His sense of duty out-paces his hope — and in the end, both will be tested.”
Hmm... I wonder if the relic is actually the gnarly, mystery dead body in that pod-thingie we first saw back in Season 1.
I don’t know about you, but I’m super excited about the addition of Conleth Hill to the show (even if it’s only for two episodes) which saw Battlestar Galactica’s James Callis play a pivotal role for the final episodes of Season 3. Other notable guest-stars this year included Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) and Rupert Graves (Sherlock).
What say you about Conleth Hill appearing on SYFY’s 12 Monkeys?
