Your Black Panther withdrawal didn't last long as we return to Wakanda in full force during a brand-new TV spot for Avengers: Infinity War. Titled "Chant," the minute-long trailer shows King T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) ramping up the Wakandan army (with Avenger reinforcements) for an epic battle against Thanos's forces that want the Mind Stone from Vision (Paul Bettany). The Wakandan chant permeates the entire video, not only gearing up M'Baku (Winston Duke) and the rest for war, but for fans as well. There's plenty of familiar clips and images here, but quite a few new ones that will make you clench in fear or bark with laughter.
Take a look at the "Chant" spot below:
We have to mention Captain America (Chris Evans) reuniting with his friend Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). His Hydra brainwashing was finally cleared by Shuri (Letitia Wright) as evidenced by the second post-credits scene of Black Panther. When Cap asks Bucky how he's doing, Bucky responds, "Not bad for the end of the world." We also have to disucss T'Challa saying that "today, we don't fight for one life, we fight for all of them." In an awesome moment of levity, his head of security Okoye (Danai Gurira) states that when he made the decision to open Wakanda to the rest of the world, this isn't what she had in mind.
"What did you imagine?" asks the king. Without hesitation Okoye plainly says, "The Olympics...maybe even a Starbucks." Yeah, this movie's gonna be so great.
