It’s going to be the end of an era when MTV’s Teen Wolf ends its six-season run this coming Sunday. To whet our appetite for the series finale, a new sneak peek has been unleashed — but be aware that there are MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW.

Don't read any further if you aren’t caught up with the show.

All good? Right. On with it.

Sunday night’s penultimate episode of Teen Wolf ended in a hail of bullets and with the apparent death of a fan favorite character when Deucalion (Gideon Emery) was shot down by Tamora Monroe’s (Sibongile Mlambo) army.

The clip below picks up where we left off and reveals that Scott McCall’s (Tyler Posey) former-enemy-turned-mentor doesn’t survive his wounds. However before he dies, Deucalion imparts some final words of wisdom to Scott about Gerard Argent (Michael Hogan), saying: “What he fears most… he can’t beat you. And he knows it.”

Titled “The Wolves of War,” the series finale penned by showrunner Jeff Davis (whose next project with MTV will be War of the Worlds) will see Gerard and the hunters begin a final assault on the supernatural creatures of Beacon Hills, and it’s up to Scott and his pack to stop them once and for all.

The Teen Wolf series finale (with talks of a reboot in the near-future) will air Sept. 24 on MTV. Will the show leave a werewolf-shaped hole in your heart when the series wraps on Sunday?
