Tennant says he's starting to 'give up hope' for Who 50th return

I felt a great disturbance, as if millions of fangirls cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

In what is either the worst news or the biggest lie ever, David Tennant denied involvement with Doctor Who's 50th-anniversary special when speaking with Time Out London. When the subject was broached, he said, simply, that he was "beginning to give up hope that anything’s going to happen."

That's a pretty far cry from what he's said previously. We've mentioned how he smiled knowingly and said that he'd nearly said something he shouldn't have. He's admitted he still has his costume. So what gives, Tennant? Have you just been teasing this whole time, or did Moffat get a hold of you?

Don't be ashamed, David. He is a mean guy. We'll understand ... so long as you're going to be in the 50th.
