When you think Terry Gilliam, you think Monty Python. You think Time Bandits. You think Brazil. What you DON'T think is NASCAR. But that's the setting for Gilliam's latest project, set to premiere on Halloween—a haunted "filmette" starring David Arquette as a paranormal expert.
The short film—or "filmette," as it's called in the credits—will premiere Oct. 31. The first installment will debut just prior to the start of the AMP Energy Juice 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on ESPN, with the full film available later that night at Legend of Hallowdega.
Arquette's character teams up with the host of a news show (played by Justin Kirk) to investigate paranormal mysteries at the Talladega Superspeedway.
While we'd much rather be watching The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, any new Gilliam is good Gilliam, so check out the trailer below.
