When The 100 returns for its fifth season next month on The CW, six years will have passed since everyone was separated following the dramatic events (aka Praimfaya) of the Season 4 finale. Of course, six years is a long time and when our core characters finally reunite, many of their loyalties will have shifted. But what about Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Clarke (Eliza Taylor)?

In a recent interview released by Den of Geek, Morley and Taylor opened up about where we find Bellarke and the rest of The 100 when Season 5 kicks off. Oh, and as an added bonus, we also have a new trailer to share, which you can watch below.

First off, Morley teased that finding out that Clarke is actually alive and not dead as he’s believed those six years stuck in space will be a “huge shock” for Bellamy (no kidding). And while the two of them have found themselves on opposite sides before (they even started off as quasi-enemies in the early days of Season 1, but we're especially looking at you Season 3) they have become trusted allies and friends who were always part of the same group, The 100.

But it looks like all that’s about to change in Season 5.

“[Clarke is] focused on her unit, her family unit, which is Madi,” said Morley. “And, I have my Spacekru and they really deviate in that sense. There’s no longer this community of The 100. Everyone's got their people now. There's a lot of the ‘my people,’ ‘your people’ stuff, as per usual, but in this particular season, it's very definitive as to who people are loyal to, so that dictates where their relationship is and where it goes.”

That also includes Oliva and the rest of the survivors (including Kane, Abby and Indra) locked inside the underground bunker beneath Polis who are now calling themselves “Onekru.” Taylor mentioned that there will be a lot of changes following that time jump, especially regarding changes in loyalties when Clarke reunites with the group that spent six years in space on the Ark, and those who were underground.

“A lot has happened. A lot of people have changed quite dramatically. A few have new loyalties, a few are the same,” said Taylor, who also offered a small glimmer of hope regarding some of the pre-time jump loyalties, which may include Bellarke. “There's a couple in particular who are very, very different, but there's still going to be that bond and that sense of family. I can't wait for people to see the actual reuniting of the entire group. It's pretty cool.”

Check out the new trailer above, and chime in with your thoughts. The 100 returns on April 24 on The CW.
