The best deals on PS4 for the week ending December 16

Do not go to the mall, even if you need to finish shopping for the holidays. Don’t do it! We’ve been there, and it’s a morass of redone-for-the-47th-time Christmas carols, angry shoppers with bad intentions, blinking lights, and screaming children. You’ll leave with a dozen bruises from aggressive people with heavy bags that totally slammed them into your legs on purpose, or sticky from the ice cream cones that parents give their kids to keep them quiet in the Disney store. That kid totally meant to cover us with rocky road! It’s far safer to shop online and stay inside. If you’re not already calling in sick to work to play Just Cause 4, there are some great deals on PS4 to keep you safe and snug in your own little house. Just order a big box of socks from Costco. Everyone loves socks, right? Here are the best deals on PS4 for the week ending December 16.

We usually don’t get deals on newer games, but this week PS4 has the Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Remastered Game Bundle on sale for $49.49, down from $74.99 for PS Plus members. The games are a blast to revisit and the graphics are exactly what you dreamed they could be back when you first played them. World of Tanks - Rival Team Up Mega is on sale for $49.19, down from $81.99, which is a pretty great deal. Batman: Arkham Collection which includes Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight is out for $23.99, down from $59.99. If you do go to the mall and feel all dark and brooding afterward, Batman totally knows how you feel.

If you haven’t gotten Just Cause 4 yet and you want an introduction to the world of Rico Rodriguez, you can pick up Just Cause 3: XXL Edition for only $8.99, down from $29.99 for PS Plus members. The Long Journey Home is $31.99, down from $39.99 right now for PS Plus members. Hitman 2 is $29.99, down from $59.99. Hitman 2 Gold Edition is $79.99, down from $99.99. Warriors Orochi 4 is out for $47.99, down from $59.99 for PS Plus members, and the season pass for the game is $23.99, down from $29.99. The Deluxe Edition of the game is $71.99, down from $89.99. Grand Theft Auto V is on sale for $14.99, down from $29.99. Monster Hunter: World, one of our favorite games of the year is on sale for $24.99, down from $29.99 for PS Plus members.

On the movie side, you can pick up Avengers: Infinity War starting at $4.99. (All movies start at the prices listed.) Escape Plan 2: Hades, a very odd choice that has been popping up here each week starts at $4.99. Blood Fest starts at $3.99. Solo: A Star Wars Story starts at $4.99. Silencer starts at $3.99. Black Panther will give you the warrior women feels starting at $2.99. Incredibles 2 starts at $4.99. Taken 2 is out starting at $2.99. Red Dawn is the same price and All Eyez on Me starts at $5.99. Hot Summer Nights starts at $4.99. Men of Honor starts at $2.99. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children starts at $2.99. Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the unrated edition is out at $2.99. My Cousin Vinny starts at $2.99. Platoon starts at the same price. Puppet Master - The Littlest Reich starts at $3.99. So Christmas-y? Maybe? Rocky will bring back your will to fight against the mall crowds starting at $2.99. You can get out some of that holiday anger by watching The Terminator, which starts at $2.99. If you feel like heading to space and watching Chris Hemsworth’s muscles and Jeff Goldblum being delightfully Jeff Goldblum-y, you can pick up Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok starting at $2.99. Finally, if you want to see if men and women can really be just friends, you can test that outdated notion by watching When Harry Met Sally starting at $7.99. Of course, they can be just friends. Still, the movie is a great nostalgia burst and worth a rewatch.

So, what movies are you watching and what games are you playing to distract you from all the holiday joy this week? Let us know in the comments.
