Amongst the celebrities who filled the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night for the 90th Academy Awards, the cast of Star Wars: The Last Jedi took a break from fighting The First Order to swing by and present awards in the animation categories.
Some of our favorite members of The Resistance Kelly Marie Tran, Oscar Isaac, Mark Hamill, and BB-8 took to the Oscars stage to present not one but two animation awards. In addition to making jokes about BB-8 speaking Yiddish to Isaac and Hamill's Jedi pension check, the crew presented Dear Basketball with the award for Best Animated Short and the creatives behind musical Coco with the Best Animated Feature Film.
But the group wasn't just there to present. Star Wars: The Last Jedi was a nominee itself at the Oscars with nominations in Original Score, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, and Visual Effects.
The night's host Jimmy Kimmel brought out an adorable "young Jimmy" wearing a Star Wars shirt to help introduce the gang saying his 9-year-old self would be freaking out.
But let's be honest, it's cool to freak out about Star Wars at any age, Jimmy.
