The Churn Episode 2: Unlikely alliances and head games abound in "Static"

Mar 25, 2021, 10:00 PM EDT (Updated)

WARNING: Spoilers for The Expanse Season 2 Episode 3, "Static."

Welcome to Episode 2 of The Churn, our post-show podcast about The Expanse. Each week during Season 2, The Expanse creators Ty Franck and Daniel Abraham (who you all know as James S.A. Corey) and Syfy Wire's resident The Expanse superfans -- Fangrrls Managing Editor Cher Martinetti and Editor-in-Chief Adam Swiderski -- take a deeper dive into the latest episode.

Tensions were still running pretty high in tonight's episode, "Static." While Miller found himself on the outs with the Roci crew, he also found himself aligned with Fred Johnson. But that wasn't even the strangest alliance for Fred, as Chrisjen Avasarala essentially committed treason by reaching out to the OPA leader herself. Amos proves to have some useful and unexpected skills when it comes to interrogating, which has a lot to do with his past. And Wes Chatham joins us on the pod to talk about getting into the mind of Amos, performing his own stunts and more.

Now would be a really good time to issue another spoiler warning. If you haven't seen tonight's episode, definitely go do that first.
