Like colorful moths to the creative flame, comic artists, writers, editors, and publishers have been fluttering to Portland, Oregon, over the past few years to set up shop and enjoy the misty weather in the flourishing mini-metropolis.

Oni Press, The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics, and IDW PDX have all adopted the Portland area as their home to consume copious amounts of Voodoo Donuts, experience rapture in the rain, and conjure up some amazing titles amid the wooded wonders of the Pacific Northwest.

Over the weekend, fans flocked to the sixth annual Rose City Comic Con, the city's premiere pop culture event, for an expanded three-day affair that still retains a satisfying level of intimacy and small-town charm. SYFY WIRE was there to capture the cavalcade of inventive cosplay in all its compelling incarnations.

From Legion's Shadow King, Doctor Doom, and Ghost Rider, to Krampus, Ursula, and one awesome Mole Man, browse through our full gallery of costumed superfans and place a vote for your favorites in the comments below.
