It's time to call some friends, because the early access to multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 becomes available this Friday on the PlayStation 4. However, this is only the Private Beta for those who have pre-ordered or will pre-order the game. If you haven't done so already, this new trailer for the multiplayer option might sway you into shelling out a few months earlier than expected.
That's because it promises the use of vicious attack dogs, tasing robots, 10 playable specialists (presumably meaning classes), six new maps, six new multiplayer modes, new equipment, new weapons, and "devestating scorestreaks."
Watch the mind-blowing trailer below:
While appearing at Comic-Con to celebrate the 10th birthday of CoD's Zombies mode, the Treyarch developers revealed a "Factions" mechanic, which will allow players to stand with different groups of people. It is unclear whether this will be exclusive to Zombies or a general option throughout any mode of the game.
You'll be able to play the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Private Beta on Aug. 3 for the PS4, if (and only if) you pre-order the game. The general Beta (titled "Blackout") for other consoles becomes available in September, while the full game goes on sale everywhere Oct. 12.
