The gag reel for Avengers: Infinity War will temporarily relieve the pain of Thanos' finger snap

Remember how you wept like a newborn baby at the end of Avengers: Infinity War and haven't been the same since? Luckily, we've got the perfect cure for that deep emotional scarring: the laughter-inducing gag reel for the film — a part of its home release.

While surprisingly short for a two-and-a-half-hour movie (there's gotta be a metric ton of unused footage), the 41-second video is chock-full of A-list celebrities breaking character, flubbing their lines, and generally fooling around on set. Want Benedict Wong ruining a dramatic scene? You got it. How about Scarlett Johansson parodying a shampoo commercial? Yep, it's there. Josh Brolin and Tom Holland hanging out in their silly-looking motion capture suits? You betcha!

Watch the gag reel below and feel the depression brought on by Thanos' Infinity snap begin to slowly ebb away...

While there's no shortage of comedic moments in the third Avengers, it's fun to see that the actors had just as much fun making it as we did watching it. Just because you're trying to stop an insane alien from wiping out half of all life in the universe doesn't mean you can't be a little light-hearted sometimes.

Now available on digital, Avengers: Infinity War arrives on Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray August 14. In addition to the gag reel, you'll also get an intro by directors Joe and Anthony Russo, a number of behind-the-scenes featurettes, a collection of deleted scenes, and a full audio commentary by the Russos and screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
