We finally have an official name for the new 20th Century Fox Television/Marvel Television series written by Matt Nix and directed by Bryan Singer, along with a teaser trailer for the series. The name isn't far off from what we thought when we saw pictures of the first table read and a behind-the-scenes look at Amy Acker, but it's always good to officially know what to call a series, right?

The Gifted features characters from the X-Men universe, but focuses on a suburban couple played by True Blood‘s Stephen Moyer and Person of Interest‘s Amy Acker, who are forced to take their family on the run once they discover their kids, Natalie Alyn Lind (GOTHAM) and Percy Hynes White (Night at the Museum 3), have mutant powers. Rounding out the cast are Sean Teale (Reign), Jamie Chung (GOTHAM), Coby Bell (Burn Notice), Emma Dumont (Aquarius), and Blair Redford (Satisfaction). The Fox and Marvel series is executive-produced by Nix, Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.

The full trailer will be released on Monday, May 15, on The Gifted's Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube channel. Check out the teaser below, and let us know if you'll be tuning in.
