An extremely spoilery page -- taken from DC Comics' Free Comic Book Day one-shot release, Divergence -- has been leaked online and, as you can imagine, it has started to make the rounds. Thing is, that page reveals the identity of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's mech-suited Batman.

When DC’s Convergence Batman storyline wraps up, Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo will launch an all-new Batman series. However, the man beneath the robotic suit will NOT be Bruce Wayne. So, who’ll be inside the armor?

That’s where that scanned page (via LaCovacha) comes in. It reveals that the new Batman will actually be ... Jim Gordon (sans moustache), who will take Bruce Wayne’s place as Gotham City's very own Dark Knight. And it seems that he’ll have the backing of the GCPD.

Bleeding Cool has a tiny bit more info on the Gordon/Batman thing. They say the question Gordon is being asked is "Are you ready to be Batman ... Commissioner Gordon?" Have a look at the page below and let us know what you think. Are you thrilled to see James Gordon as DC's new Batman? Or do you think (as Gordon does) this is the dumbest idea ever?
