The Joker got drunk and harassed people at Applebee's. Yup.

Why so serious? And sober?

When you go to your local Applebee's, chances are you just want an Appletini, maybe some kind of loaded potato or a wing of some sort. What you don't want, though, is the Joker, drunk, acting crazy. Unfortunately, that doesn't just happen to the folks in Gotham anymore, apparently.

Twenty-four-year-old Aaron Chase arrived at a Chautauqua County, N.Y., Applebee's Sunday, wearing white face paint, a green wig and a big red smile. He was rocking a full-on Heath Ledger, and it sure wasn't Halloween. Allegedly he'd already been kicked out of another bar up the road for making gun gestures at the bartender earlier in the evening.Already drunk and all out of cash, Chase allegedly began harassing people at the Applebee's. He was asked to leave. He did not. Apparently this isn't even his first time, but bar owner TIm Ruch still says, "People get a little uptight and nervous. You don't see this everyday."

Considering what the Joker does in The Dark Knight and the violence that occurred in theaters immediately followng the release of The Dark Knight Rises, a little agitation is more than understandable.

Lakewood-Busti Police were contacted and forcibly removed Chase, charging him with trespassing. Chase is collecting under psych evaluation at WCA Hospital, and Sgt. Paul Gustafson noted that "We take any call of this nature very seriously, especially in a situation where a person dresses up in this manner."

Any chance that there's a social worker out there who dresses up like Batman?
