Something fishy awaits The Magicians’ upcoming fourth season (you knew we couldn’t resist; we’re not sorry). Entertainment Weekly has provided readers with a first look at the series’ latest fish-out-of-water character (again, not sorry), Manphibian, aka Lord Fresh.

Played by Anthony Ingram, the new half-human, half-amphibian is being described as “Lord of All Fillorian Fresh Waters” and loyal to the High Kings of Fillory. EW posted a picture of Lord Fresh on Twitter. “The Magicians reveals a fishy new magical creature in season 4 first look,” said the corresponding tweet above the photo. (See? It’s not just us.)

The Magicians ended its third season with all of its characters’ memories having been erased, and the cast revealed to SYFY WIRE at San Diego Comic Con this summer that Season 4 picks up pretty much right where Season 3 left off. They also revealed some big changes are a-coming for Season 4, including the fact that Eliot (Hale Appleman) will be the supervillain. So, we’ve got that to look forward to. That, and the introduction of Fish-face.

So, what do you guys think of this new character and his look? Let us know in the comments below.

The Magicians will return to SYFY for its fourth season in 2019.
