Welcome to your worst nightmare. No, it's not spiders or snakes. It's even more terrifying than simply the image of a demonic nun. The latest teaser trailer for upcoming horror film The Nun is all about being trapped in a coffin -- alive and not alone.

The upcoming Corin Hardy-helmed horror film is the fifth film in the universe which began with Aquaman director James Wan's The Conjuring. It turns out, Wan helped out a bit on The Nun as well. The film is set in a real-world Transylvanian monastery, which is pretty much asking for some creepy events to happen. And in 1950s Romania, getting stuck in a coffin was probably still a terrifying possibility. In the latest teaser trailer, that's exactly what happens to Demián Bichir's character.

Thirty seconds is plenty of time to realize you'd never want to be in his shoes. Take a look:

As mentioned in the teaser, the events of The Nun take place before both The Conjuring and Annabelle. Bichir's character is a priest with a past sent by the Vatican along with Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga), a woman about to take her final vows to investigate a young nun's death -- a recipe for disaster. The pair then must deal with a demonic nun, seen in the coffin with Bichir's character in the teaser. Yes, a demonic nun stuck inside a coffin. Does it get much creepier?

Find out when The Nun lands in theaters September 7.
