If you perform autopsies for a living, never ever allow yourself to be alone in the morgue if a newly-arrived body died under mysterious circumstances. Those who have seen The Autopsy of Jane Doe with Emile Hirsch and Brian Cox know exactly what we're talking about.
The Possession of Hannah Grace seems like a natural spiritual (no pun intended) successor to that film, as it involves a corpse terrorizing an innocent person that just wants to do their job, which is cutting open said corpse and determining its cause and time of death.
Sony Screen Gems has released the creepy first trailer for the movie, which you can watch below.
Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars) plays Megan Reed, a worker in the city morgue, who takes delivery of a mutilated body of a young woman who was undergoing an exorcism before she died. However, now that the woman is dead, the evil/demon/entity (whatever you wanna call it) that once possessed her needs a new "domicile" in which to take up residence — and Reed seems like the perfect candidate.
The movie was written by Brian Sieve (an alum of Scream: The TV Series and Teen Wolf) and directed by Diederik Van Rooijen (Black Widow).

The Possession of Hannah Grace will spread its evil influence to theaters on Nov. 30.
