Your dream of seeing the Power Rangers clash with the characters of Street Fighter that you never knew you had? Well, it's finally here. To celebrate the Rangers' 25th anniversary, players of Power Rangers: Legacy Wars will be able to download playable characters like Ryu and Chun-Li, alongside the existing Power Rangers heroes and villains. The gig is a partnership between nWay, Saban Brands, Lionsgate, and Capcom.

“This incredible Street Fighter and Power Rangers crossover shows how the competitive mobile gaming scene is thriving and attracting massive confidence from legendary videogame companies and their passionate fanbases,” said Taehoon Kim, CEO of nWay, in an official release provided to SYFY WIRE. “Seeing Street Fighter characters duking it out with Power Rangers is truly new and magical. It’s never been done before, and now we are making it happen in Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, proving the rising trend of competitive mobile gaming in the West."

Power Rangers: Legacy is already available for Apple and Android devices, but a good chunk of the Street Fighter content becomes accessible today: Ryu – Shoryuken, Hadoken and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku; Chun-Li  (Spinning Bird Kick, Kikoken and Hyakuretsukyaku), Guile (Sonic Boom, Flash Kick and Sonic Cross), and Akuma (Gou-Hadoken, Zanku Hadoken and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku); Cammy and M. Bison will drop on June 1 and 15, respectively. This DLC can be bought for $4.99 a pop or earned by collecting character shards and opening Morph Boxes.

"The collaboration between Power Rangers and Street Fighter feels like a dream to me,” said Yoshinori Ono, executive producer at Capcom, in a statement. “I can't contain my excitement just thinking about the idea of our Street Fighter characters moving about in that world.”
