On the heels of the recent announcement that Hellboy would be joining the cast of the video game Injustice 2 in the second fighter pack made available for players (even if Big Red himself is "so over" the whole thing), developer NetherRealm Studios is already rolling out a peek at the final three DLC characters that will be made available via Fighter Pack #3.

If you want to get technical, there are actually more than three characters on the way. In addition to the Atom and Enchantress -- who round out an already impressive cast on the Injustice 2 roster overall -- the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themselves are coming to join the party too!

Judging from the video below, it appears as if you'll be able to play as all four Turtles combined -- Donatello, Leonardo, Michaelangelo, and Raphael -- against any one of the other available characters, especially if Leo's line about fighting "as a team" is any indication of gameplay.

Since NetherRealm released a longer trailer for the purposes of showing us Hellboy's moves within the scale of the game, we're keeping our fingers crossed for a lengthier video at a later date so we can get a sense of the Ninja Turtles before they're playable in-game.

No word yet on the Turtles' release date, but according to the trailer below Atom will arrive for early access on December 12.
