The Tick's Peter Serafinowicz: 'It's the best part I've ever played'

Ben Edlund and Amazon's latest take on a live-action version of comic book (and cartoon) hero The Tick drops on August 25. If you've already seen the pilot, you know that it's already off to a strong start.

I had the chance to sit down with the latest hero to proudly wear the blue suit and antennae, Peter Serafinowicz. He's already well known, I think, for being a very adaptive comedy actor. He's worked with James Gunn and Edgar Wright and would've stolen the show as Aldo in Spy if it weren't for the fact that literally everyone in Spy is incredible.

But The Tick is a very different beastie, and not only because other people have played the character before. There's no one else in fiction (or life, sadly) like The Tick, so I asked Peter how he's handled it, and he said that he feels it's the part he was born to play.
