A new promo for The Walking Dead Season 8, which will debut with the 100th episode of the series, was released by AMC. The spot, running on AMC now during their other original series, shows the groups from The Kingdom, The Hilltop, and Alexandria all assembling as they prepare for All Out War against Negan and the Saviors.

Much of the footage in the 30-second spot is just very quick looks at individual characters, some of which were seen in the shocking Comic-Con trailer in July. In that, it's almost like a video version of the key-art poster they released a few days ago. But the speech, delivered by Lauren Cohan's Maggie, and some of the group assembly bits are brand-new.

"We need to keep our faith in each other," Maggie tells an unseen group, either the Hilltop or possibly all three combined forces. "If we can hold onto that with everything we have, the future is ours. The world is ours!"

It's a rousing speech, and one she no doubt needs to give because members of all three communities will have second thoughts about going up against the seemingly unstoppable force of the Saviors.

Season 8 should be a pretty fast-paced one, as producers have confirmed All Out War will be contained wholly within this season. When this storyline hit in the comics, they actually double-shipped, two issues per month, because they wanted to show how quickly everything changes during a full-on war, and it sure sounds like that will be matched when it comes to the screen.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at 9 p.m. ET.
