The Force is with us—again! Lucasfilm is bringing Star Wars: Episode I—The Phantom Menace back to the big screen. But this time, it'll be in 3D. To promote the re-release, they've unveiled several 3D-inspired posters. And honestly, Darth Maul's never looked deadlier.

Five new posters have been released for Star Wars: Episode I—The Phantom Menace 3D. They feature the old gang, which includes Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson), the young Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor), Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd), Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman) and the dreaded Darth Maul (Ray Park).

Episode I was originally released in 1999, and it marked the beginning of a new Star Wars trilogy. Today, the prequels are disliked for multiple reasons but back then they dominated the box office. The Phantom Menace grossed more than $924 million worldwide. That's nothing to sneeze at.

Despite issues with the story and acting, there are some parts of The Phantom Menace that are worth seeing in 3D. The duel between Darth Maul, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan will actually benefit from it.

What do you think? Is The Phantom Menace worth a 3D viewing?

Star Wars: Episode I—The Phantom Menace opens in theaters Feb. 10.
