Nicole Eastman, the screenwriter of the recent chick-flick hit The Ugly Truth, starring 300 and Gamer star Gerard Butler, has just signed on to adapt novelist Allison Winn Scotch's Time of My Life, according to Variety.

The novel features a desperate housewife who has everything... nice house ... hubby with a good job ... cute baby daughter ... who gets the chance to address all the nagging "what ifs" of her suburban existence after a session with her massage therapist releases her blocked chi and she's transported back in time for a "do over" of the past seven years of her life.

Time of My Life will be produced by Meryl Poster, who has previously done Chicago, Chocolat, and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights (sequel to the movie that burned the lyric "The Time of My Life" into popular awareness), and Kate Schumaecker for Superb Entertainment and the Weinstein Co.
