Stranger Things is taking us back to The Upside Down with Season 2 this weekend on Netflix. The soundtrack for Season 2 was just released, but there are also individual Spotify playlists for each of your favorite Hawkins citizens.
Every Stranger Things character is unique and deserves a soundtrack of their very own — which is exactly what Spotify has given them. Yes, you can catapult yourself into the mind of any of the main Stranger Things characters, with over 40 tracks on each list.
Once you're done bingeing Season 2, it'll be ready for breakfast, so "Eleven's Breakfast Jams" is the perfect start to your day. "Buzzcut Season" by Lorde is on the playlist for obvious reasons. "Just a Girl" by No Doubt tells the story of a girl underestimated by the world. And we're certainly hoping the "Dog Days Are Over" for Eleven in Season 2.
"Dustin's Curiosity Door Jams" playlist is full of curiosity -- just like him. Will he ever have a "Satisfied Mind"? "Never Say Never," but we're guessing Dustin will forever be "Blinded by Science," just how we like him.
Whether it's an intense D&D session or searching for his best friend, Mike never gives up. Which is why his playlist is filled with reminders of what he's fighting for. There is "Always Something There to Remind Me" just why he can't give up. Especially when it comes to Eleven, who likely inspired Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science" to be added to the list.
Lucas loves his bike, so it makes sense his playlist is packed full of great cycling songs like "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and "Midnight City." And it's pretty much a rule you can't ride your bicycle without listening to Queen's "Bicycle Race" at least once.
After all of that time in the Upside Down, it's not shocking Will decided to stick to the classics with his playlist. He was "Stuck in the Middle With You" for quite a while wondering, "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" So no one will blame him if he wants to just rock out for a bit.
Make sure to also check out the other playlists, including one for Hopper, a little bit of "Creep" for Jonathan, "Nancy's Slaylist," and Joyce's tunes for the perfect Halloween House Party. Even the Demogorgon has a dark playlist of jams. Plus, the two newest characters to join the gang get their own mixes as well.
If you're brave enough, take a visit to spotify-strangerthings.com and find out which character's playlist is the perfect fit for you. Pro tip: If you play the playlists, your computer will actually start to look like the Upside Down. Give it a try!
