Reading manga is no excuse for damaging public property, but that's just what these girls have done.

One night, two girls from Japan allegedly broke into Sakawa Junior High in Kanagawa. Once the were inside, they tore through the place, causing $5,000 worth of damage. They flooded the building, shattered lights and destroyed several computers. Before they were done, they even wrote the word "death" in kanji on the chalkboard.

What was their reasoning? Well, they claim they "Got the idea from a manga [we] were reading that had the same scene."

While the comic was not named, many suspect the scene in question comes from a manga called Aku no Hana. We've referenced one particular moment in the image at the top. In it, two students release all of their deviant desires in one night by destroying their classroom.

The girls were picked up by police for breaking and entering as well as vandalism.
