These DC heroes aren't likely to show up in Batman/Superman

We already know at least three of the heroes in the sequel to Man of Steel. But one source says that two other members of the DC Universe definitely won't be showing up.

Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are all a lock for the movie, which is being referred to by most people as Batman vs. Superman. But one of the Internet's best unofficial sources for Batman news has declared that two other well-known members of the Justice League won't be stopping by.

According to Batman On Film, neither Aquaman nor Martian Manhunter will be in the Zack Snyder-directed movie at all. That info came in the form of an answer to a question about actor Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones), who was recently cast in the movie. Asked if Momoa was hired to play either one, the Batman On Film editor said, "Nope ... Neither of those characters are in this film."

The betting money says that Momoa is playing Doomsday, and since it's already been established that there will be two villains in the story, that makes a lot of sense to us. As for other DC heroes showing up beyond the trio we have now ... just because Arthur Curry and J'onn J'onzz are out of the picture, it doesn't mean that Green Lantern, the Flash, Green Arrow or a host of others can't show their face, even for a quick cameo.

Batman vs. Superman will open on July 17, 2015, with Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane, with more to come.

Would you like to see Aquaman or Martian Manhunter pop up in the Man of Steel sequel? Should they write in more DC heroes, or are Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman enough for now?
