There's a new horror short film contest that aims to scare your socks off in 15 seconds or less. Want to see a few of the freaky highlights?
The 15 Second Scare contest is backed by CryptTV, which was co founded by Eli Roth. It’s an interesting concept, and though most of the shorts focus on quick jump scares, a few are actually fairly creative. Plus, hey, it’s just 15 seconds of your life. The mini-shorts will be judged by a panel that includes Roth, Quentin Tarantino, music producer deadmau5, Jason Blum, Jordan Peele, Vanessa Hudgens and Gaspar Noé.
The contest launched last week, and the winner will be announced on Saturday (aka Halloween). Creator of the winning short earns $10,000 and the opportunity to have the 15-second short developed as a short film by CryptTV.
