Even if a recent Star Wars: The Force Awakens poster by legendary artist Drew Struzan and an Instagram teaser pointed at Finn (John Boyega) being a Jedi -- 'cause it showed him wielding a lightsaber -- all may not be as it seems in a galaxy far, far away.
Need I say SPOILERS?

Right. So, fans were no doubt surprised to see Finn holding a Jedi’s weapon of choice, since many held out hope (and prayed to the ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi) that the new Star Wars movie would focus on a female Jedi in the form of Daisy Ridley’s Rey.
Well, it looks like fans may have been right all along.
The good folks over at Latino-Review have spotted this piece of promo material from a playing card set that may have revealed that the Force may indeed be with Rey.
Comic Book Movie posit that Finn holding the lightsaber may simply be a case of misdirection from the Star Wars powers-that-be, and that Finn is exactly what he appeared to be at first, a member of the Rebel Alliance. He could have ended up picking the lightsaber to hold off Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) at some point in the movie, or something of the sort. Which is highly possible, if we've learned anything about director J.J. Abrams.
Also, rumors have been going around the Internet for a good while now that Rey may actually be the daughter of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher). If that’s really the case, The Force Awakens would be continuing in the wonderful tradition of telling the Skywalker family’s story. "The Force is strong in my family," Luke (Mark Hamill) says in the trailer. "My father has it. I have it. My sister has it. You have that power, too." What do you think?
