This hilarious LEGO Star Wars parody is how Rogue One should have ended

If you were shocked with the way Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ended, you were probably not alone. Thankfully, a new fan video has emerged, pitting Chirrut Imwe against the whole of The Empire and giving us the ending the movie (and the characters) really deserved.

Joining forces for this hilarious four-minute brickbuilding stop motion short — done with LEGOs — are Brotherhood Workshop (who’ve done many amazing LEGO videos) and How It Should Have Ended.

In the short film, we se blind Jedi warrior monk extraordinaire Chirrut (played by Donnie Yen in director Gareth Edwards’ 2016 Star Wars prequel) battle everyone and everything from the movie (including Stormtroopers, AT-AT walkers, Darth Vader and even the Death Star itself), while all the other characters just sit on the sidelines, watching Chirrut be even more of a badass than his live-action counterpart.

Directed by Kevin Ulrich, this LEGO Star Wars parody was originally a two-minute film made for the SXSW 2017 Video Game Awards that ended with Chirrut saying “I am one with the Force.” Since Ulrich wanted to have a much longer fight sequence, he added two more minutes to the battle sequence and you can enjoy the full video titled “Chirrut vs. Everything - LEGO Star Wars Parody”

And may the Force be with you (but be sure to stick around until the very end):
