Last week we introduced you to the two guys making a real-life Hulkbuster out of parts from eBay in their backyard, but now the Hulkbuster is completed and ready to Hulk-Smash whatever gets in its way.
Colin Furze and James Bruton are no strangers to DIY projects, but this one is pretty ambitious. The British inventors had built an over 10-foot-tall Hulkbuster modeled after the one seen in Avengers: Infinity War. When Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) is unable to get the green guy to come out and play, he hops in an Iron Man/Hulk mashup known as the Hulkbuster to fight. It's like having the size of the Hulk with the fun tools of Iron Man.
Furze and Bruton's Hulkbuster has some pretty nifty (and terrifying?) features, like room for a human passenger, a flamethrower in the hand, plus the ability to lift a grown man off the ground. And almost drop him. Plus, the Hulkbuster towers over fences and bushes, making it the gaudiest lawn ornament ever. What do the neighbors think?
Check out the video below to see the hydraulic Hulkbuster, made completely out of parts found on eBay. If you're interested in more of the nuts and bolts of how the machine was made, make sure to check out part one and part two of his YouTube videos showing construction.
Pretty cool, right? Other than the whole immobile part, it's not too shabby. But until they get that situation all figured out, we'll stick to using this instead to get around.
