Ubisoft has released the launch trailer for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the 21st installment in the popular video game series. Based on the trailer, we're preparing ourselves for what looks like to be an amazing video game adaptation of Zack Snyder's 300.
Set in Ancient Greece, Odyssey allows players to take on the persona of a young Spartan warrior, a direct descendant of King Leonidas himself. In the game, you'll hone your fighting skills, facing off against other warriors, angry lions, man-eating cyclopes, and snake-headed gorgons that will turn you into stone with just one glance.

If ever you wondered what it would be like to live out Greek mythology and go on cool and dangerous adventures like Hercules, Odysseus, or Percy Jackson, this is probably the game for you.
Got an Alexa at home? Then the gods have smiled down upon you. In conjunction with the upcoming Assassin's Creed title, you'll be able to transform Alexa into "Alexios," turning your home companion into a Plato-esque scholar on Ancient Greece and the game itself.
You'll be able to make Homer proud when Assassin's Creed Odyssey goes on sale Friday, Oct. 5. That's also the day that Venom will be released in theaters, so the fifth is a good date for genre all around!
