Could Jaimie Alexander be in the running for a role on Batman vs. Superman? Based on what the actress let slip, she is—but as whom?

According to Latino Review, Thor’s own Lady Sif—Jaimie Alexander—was at Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo in L.A. Friday, participating in the AMC Movie Talk panel, when the actress hinted that she’d been in contact with Warner Bros. about its upcoming Batman vs. Superman flick.

Alexander confirmed that she was one of four final actresses up for a role—that of someone in their late 20s who is both tall and has a certain physicality.

Well, the statuesque actress (she’s 5’9”) certainly fits the bill! So far, so good.

Mark Hughes over at Forbes reported that Alexander dropped this little bombshell that she was in talks with “both companies,” about superhero movies — “both,” which would of course mean both Marvel AND Warner Bros.

Alexander, who’s a major comic-book fan in real life, also gave her support to the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman in the film, saying he was suited for that particular portrayal, and her reason for her support of Affleck is basically because she “kind of knows the story line for that movie.”

Now, this whole revelation was also followed by THIS on twitter:

However, Latino Review is quick to point out that the role Jaimie Alexander is in the running for is NOT THAT OF WONDER WOMAN but that of Bruce Wayne’s love interest. Gosh, we don't know about you, but we think that sorta sucks, since Alexander would actually make for a very decent Amazon princess.

So what do you guys think? Would you like to see Jaimie Alexander on Batman vs. Superman, or do you think she should not “cross over” by joining the cast as Bruce Wayne’s love interest?
