Avengers: Age of Ultron is about to be unleashed on home video next week, and Marvel Entertainment has released a new peek at a deleted scene from the upcoming Blu-ray/DVD debut.   This alternate sequence of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) entering the Norn Cave with Dr. Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard) was featured in the film, but in a much more abbreviated form, with Thor simply having a mystical vision of the Infinity Gauntlet.

Watch as the bare-chested God of Thunder gets possessed by a mythical Norn in the grotto's magical pool and channels info on how to defeated the insane A.I., Ultron.  This version does have a strange, supernatural element to it that seems somewhat out of place in the greater tonal context of the film and was apparently panned in test screenings.  Enter cautiously and tell us what you think?

Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron debuts on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital SD and VOD on Oct. 2.
