Titans: Beast Boy bares his tiger fangs in latest look at DC Universe series

We suspect that one of the most expensive things in the budget for DC Universe's Titans show is the CGI required for Beast Boy's animal-related transformations.

Warner Bros. TV has has given us plenty of looks at Garfield "Gar" Logan (Ryan Potter) in his human form, but none of him as a beast of the land. Finally, Entertainment Weekly delivers a look at the character trasnforming into a green-furred tiger.

In the clip below, Logan shows off his ability to Robin (Brenton Thwaites), Raven (Tegan Croft), and Starfire (Anna Diop), but when he transforms back into a boy, he's totally clothes-less.

"You have to be naked?" Robin inquires, as Garfield looks down and acts a little sheepish.

Based on the clip, Garfield's favorite animal to turn into is a tiger. After all, it's one of the biggest and most dangerous predators on the planet. Still, we'd like to see him turn into more than just a tiger. We get it, it's expensive to even make him a tiger, but what about a great white shark or, even better, a T-Rex?! The possibilities are nearly endless with a character like this.

The video also proves that Beast Boy will be the black sheep of the Titans crew, just like he is on the animated shows, where he's voiced by Greg Cipes. He speaks his mind, cracks wise, and even asks Robin if he can be introduced to Batman. He is to the Teen Titans what Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) is to the Justice League.
