We still don't know how Avengers 4 plans to undo the fates of all those characters who were disintegrated at the end of Infinity War, but we do know that Spider-Man: Far From Home has wrapped principal photography.
Spider-Man star Tom Holland took to Instagram to update fans that today was the final day of shooting for his second solo outing as the wall-crawler, which looks to be more of a globetrotting adventure for the MCU's high-school-age hero.
Holland posted two photos from the set today. The first was a rather unassuming shot of the actor wearing sunglasses, captioned with "Walking into our last day like..."
The second post, however, was a much more action-oriented shot of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, captioned "Halfway through our last day..." Both posts have around one-and-a-half million likes, as of this writing.
Snippets from the set have been steadily released over the course of Far From Home's three-month shoot, which included locations across Europe as well as in Spidey's hometown. They've included glimpses of a stealth Spider-suit as well as a possible glimpse of the new villain, Mysterio.
Holland even revealed the title of his sequel during an Instagram video he posted earlier this summer, where he held an iPad with the title design. It was speculated to be an accidental spoiler, but later seemed to be an intentional reveal, with Marvel perhaps making light of the young actor's proficiency for spoiling plot points during interviews.
Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters on July 5, 2019. What are you hoping for out of the sequel? Let us know in the comments.
