It looks like 10 seasons will be it for Smallville. Despite the CW's plans to announce that the series would have one final season beginning next fall during tomorrow's up-front presentation, star Tom Welling (aka Clark Kent, aka The Blur) spilled the beans early while at a party last night.

"Season 10 of Smallville will be the last season," Welling told HollywoodLife.com.

Smallville has lived in bubbleland for a while now, so it's not a surprise that The CW has decided to give the series a firm ending date. The series surprised everyone when it was moved to Fridays and exceeded expectations in the ratings. At least this gives the producers an entire season to finish the story.

For next season, The CW picked up the new spy series Nikita and renewed The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural. The network will announce its 2010-11 schedule tomorrow during its up-front presentation.
