The real life King of the Geeks goes up against TV's Lord of the Nerds: Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: TNG's Wesley Crusher) will guest-star as a not-so-nice version of himself on tonight's The Big Bang Theory on CBS.

Our sources tell us that, in the episode named "The Creepy Candy Coating Corollary," we learn that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) once made an arduous journey to meet Wheaton and get his autograph. Wheaton never showed up. Now Sheldon wants to settle the score.

On the red carpet for the Scream Awards in Hollywood Saturday night, Kunal Nayyar, who plays Rajesh Koothrappali on the show, told us how excited the cast was to work with Wheaton.

"He is the king of that world. And he is the nicest guy," Nayyar said. "Very well educated. Very smart. And very willing to share the knowledge that he has. He has 1.43 million ... maybe more now ... followers on Twitter. Can you imagine? I mean, John Mayer and Ashton Kutcher are like, 'Ooh, look at me.' But look at Wil Wheaton, man! He's a god, you know? We loved having him, and I hope he can continue to come back."

The Big Bang Theory airs Mondays at 8:30 ET/PT on CBS.
