Toy Story 4 introduces Key & Peele's characters in second teaser for Pixar sequel

Toy Story 4’s misnomered spork, Forky, isn’t the only new character that the Pixar sequel is dropping on fans of the tear-jerking animated franchise. In a new teaser trailer dropping a mere day after its first, the film introduces two cute and fuzzy familiarities in the company’s first reaction video.

Ducky (Keegan-Michael Key) and Bunny (Jordan Peele) are two plush prizes at a carnival game, possibly a locale that the toys will visit on their road trip. That’s right, Key & Peele. Key, who was recently in Predator and Peele, who recently has been taking over the world of genre entertainment one Oscar and Twilight Zone at a time. But here, they recapture some of their comic magic from their sketch show.

Take a look:

Mimicking the duo’s valet sketches, in which two valets get super hyped about everything from Liam Neeson to Robert Downey, Jr., the pair get Buzz Lightyear’s catchphrase wrong while singing the praises of Woody. These toys are apparently legends in the plaything community. But when the actual protagonists show up...they get a lesson in finite numbers and an underwhelming response.

Hopefully these characters show up for much, much longer in the actual move, but if not, at least fans have a carnival to look forward too. Though carnivals can definitely be creepy places, even if they weren’t stocked with tons and tons of huge stuffed animals.

Toy Story 4 hits theaters on June 21, 2019.
