Black Mirror is one of the most disturbing shows on television (well, Netflix). While many shows go for the gut, Black Mirror goes for the gut, cuts it out, and makes you cry over your own bloody entrails. Typically, it does all that with tech and social commentary. But with this new trailer for another upcoming episode from Season 4, “Black Museum,” the series is trying its hand at full-on horror.

For most of its run the past few years, Black Mirror has garnered acclaim for the way it tackles uncomfortable questions about the impact of near-future technology, almost always drawing painful conclusions. Its violence is emotional, rather than physical. Now, it looks to be a bit of both.

“Black Museum” is a museum where visitors come to experience all of the horrors of humanity, free from consequence (although we predict a Westworld-like twist). Flashes of the exhibits are a serial killers' playpen. Here, a young woman comes to work for the museum, confident she can handle the challenge. Well, here's hoping.

The Black Museum, we're told, is not for the faint-hearted. The same can be said about all of Black Mirror

The release date of Black Mirror’s fourth season has not been announced, but the recent release of two other trailers suggests it’s imminent. The first trailer, for Season 4 episode "Arkangel," shines a hazy light on parental insecurity, while the second trailer, for episode "Crocodile," suggests memory is more accessible than we realized.
