Paramount Pictures has unleashed yet another action-packed trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight.
The international trailer boasts some new footage, which makes me feel like I’ve seen the whole movie by now; but no matter, because it looks like we’re going to be in for yet another wild ride, courtesy of Michael Bay. There’s a lot more action to see, as well as more of Mark Wahlberg’s (Deepwater Horizon) Cade Yeager and that "crazy ninja butler," but this time Sir Anthony Hopkins (Thor: The Dark World) is making himself scarce. Also, Nazis!
Starring in the movie alongside Wahlberg and Hopkins are Laura Haddock (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) as Vivian Wembley, Josh Duhamel (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox, Stanley Tucci (Captain America: The First Avenger) as Joshua Joyce, Jerrod Carmichael (Neighbors) as Desi, Isabela Moner as Izabella and Liam Carrigan (Once Upon a Time) as King Arthur.
Transformers: The Last Knight was directed by Michael Bay from a script by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man), as well as Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down). The movie will open on June 21.
The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
