After Disney dropped more than $4 billion to pick up Lucasfilm and Star Wars, the rumor mill started wondering which company Mickey Mouse and company might go after next. Then word broke that massive toy company Hasbro could be next on the list. So is it true?

Not likely, at least according to some sources inside the Transformers, Monopoly and Ouija-owning company.

CNBC analyst David Faber reportedly made contact with some folks at the company who say there is "absolutely nothing going on that they are aware of at all, in any way, shape or form."

Though Hasbro does have a boatload of attractive properties, much like recent purchases Lucasfilm and Marvel, it would be a pretty massive undertaking to work out all the previous film and option deals lingering out in Hollywood.

Plus, Disney just dropped $4 billion to get Star Wars, and they're looking to pump even more into Lucasfilm to get a new trilogy off the ground. So it's probably not a great time to start blowing more cash.

What do you think? Is there any truth to this rumor?
