SPOILER WARNING: Minor spoilers for Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 2 below!

If you watch Jessica Jones on Netflix, then you know that our hero’s bestie/adoptive sister, Trish Walker, has her own super powers, albeit those that are mostly limited to the entertainment realm. But in case those powers didn’t show up enough for you during Season 2, Netflix just dropped the mother of all promotional pop-up vids.

A former child TV star and model who has become a popular talk-show host, Walker (Rachael Taylor) also showed off her singing talents in Season 2, during a flashback to her ill-fated attempts at pop stardom. If you’ll recall the episode titled, “I Want Your Cray Cray,” while bumping up at the club, we are shown the music video of Walker performing the titular song, her debut single, and it was beyond cray. But it gets better.

Now, in a stroke of promotional genius, Netflix has released the entire video for Walker’s one-not-quite-a-hit wonder, complete with the Pop-Up Video treatment. And the results are mesmerizing...

If you’re not familiar with Pop-Up Video, it was a popular ‘90s show on VHS (which got a not-as-popular reboot in 2011) that took music videos and added enlightening and hilarious captions. “I Want Your Cray Cray” takes that premise to the next level.

Within the video, we learn a whole lot more about the song, and the artist who performs it. Like did you know that “’Cray cray’ is slang for crazy,” that “other slang words are wackadoo, nutzoid, whackjob, fruitloop, and gringa loca,” and that “the tabloids have used all of these words to describe Trish”?

That’s the kind of gold found within. But honestly, even without the captions, the choreography is worth its weight alone, and should definitely have merited the vid a VMA. Check it out, then let us know if you think Trish should mount a comeback in Season 3.

Jessica Jones Season 2 is available on Netflix now.
