TV THIS WEEK: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Stargirl finales; HBO’s Lovecraft Country premiere; Bloodshot & more

After seven amazing, HYDRA-stopping, heartbreaking, action-packed seasons — Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. comes to an end this week. The OG Marvel TV series that outlasted them all is finally hanging up its badge, so don't miss the last battle for the fate of the Earth. But if Marvel action isn't your thing, we also have some HBO horrors and next-gen DC supes, too.

Along with the S.H.I.E.L.D. series-ender, The CW's most recent superhero series Stargirl is also wrapping its first season. But don't worry, The CW has already picked it up for a second season of Justice Society adventures. HBO also has a splashy debut with the buzzy new horror series Lovecraft Country, which hails from A-list producers Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams.

If movies are more your thing, Starz has the pay cable premiere of Bloodshot (one of the last theatrical releases before COVID-19 shut down theaters nationwide), and HBO is dropping the excellent Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), just in case you missed it on the big screen or VOD. SEASON FINALE: As the Injustice Society of America come one step closer to accomplishing their mission, Courtney and the JSA face off with Icicle and the villains of the ISA.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC), Wednesday 9PM - "The End is at Hand," "What We're Fighting For"

SERIES FINALE: With their backs against the wall and Nathaniel and Sibyl edging ever closer to eliminating S.H.I.E.L.D. from the history books, the agents must rely on their strengths to outsmart and outlast the Chronicoms. This is their most important fight, and it will take the help of friends and teammates, past and present, to survive.

Bloodshot (Starz), Friday 8PM

NETWORK PREMIERE: Killed in action, soldier Ray Garrison gets a new lease on life when the RST Corp. brings him back from the dead. But when the company decides to manipulate his mind and memories, Ray must embark on a mission to find out what's real and what's not.

Lovecraft Country (HBO), Sunday 9PM - "Sundown"

SERIES PREMIERE: Atticus Freeman embarks on a journey in search of his missing father, Montrose; after recruiting his uncle, George, and childhood friend, Letitia, to join him, the trio sets out for Ardham, Mass., where they think Montrose may have gone.

Wynonna Earp (SYFY), Sunday 10PM - "Afraid"

Wynonna faces down an ancient enemy as Waverly and Nicole search for help.

MONDAY

The Titan Games (NBC), Monday 8PM - "The Titan Games Championship"

Six elite Titans return for the final rounds of competition. The top two men and women will advance to compete on Dwayne Johnson's Mount Olympus one last time. In the end, one man and one woman will be crowned Titan Champions. Alex Mendez and Cari Champion call the action.

Beyond the Unknown (Travel), Monday 10PM - "Jimmy Carter's UFO, The Secret of the Stardust and Nazca Lines"

Georgia State Archives preserves all manner of documents from the state's history dating back to the beginning of the colony. One peculiar document in the archives came from the desk of the only U.S. President to come from Georgia.

American Dad! (TBS), Monday 10PM - "The Old Country"

Steve pushes Stan to trace the Smith family's ancestry while Hayley and Francine go undercover as Sub Hub secret shoppers.

Jaws Awakens (Discovery), Monday 10PM 

Chris Fallows joins Jeff Kurr and Dickie Chivell to search for the largest male great white shark in the world. Together they explore the waters of New Zealand to find a nearly 20-foot-long, two-ton shark named Fred.

TUESDAY

Stargirl (The CW), Tuesday 8PM - "Stars & S.T.R.I.P.E. Part Two"

THURSDAY

Killer Camp (The CW), Thursday 8PM - "A Killer Finale"

SEASON FINALE: In the Season 1 finale, the campmates vote one last time for who they think the killer is. Events come to a head as two campers clash about the clues they've received and make a final play to convince fellow campers of their innocence. The killer will be revealed.

Star Trek: Lower Decks (CBS All Access), Thursday - "Envoys"

The latest episode of the animated comedy series set in the Star Trek universe. Critics dig it, you probably will, too.
