The CW's Arrow is back this week, still holding down the fort as the OG superhero show on the network — even though we're not quite sure how Oliver will be suiting up from prison.

Aside from The CW's big premiere, this week is loaded with new genre fare. The CW also has a new Flash, Black Lightning, Riverdale, Supergirl and Charmed. BBC America's revitalized Doctor Who continues its acclaimed run; NBC has a new episode of breakout freshmen hit Manifest, as well as fantasy comedy The Good Place; and The Walking Dead's new season continues on AMC.

Fox has a new episode of The Gifted, USA has a new installment of the event series The Purge, FX has a terrifying new episode of American Horror Story, USA pushes forward with The Last Ship, and SYFY has new episodes of Van Helsing and Z Nation. It's not quite genre, but we'll also throw a nod to the premiere of Nathan Fillion's new show The Rookie on Tuesday (it's a straight-up cop show, but could still be of interest for Fillion fans).

Check out our full rundown below and let us know what you'll be watching.
